Research Centres - Department of Bio-Technology

About Us

The research centre was started in the year 2011 and it was approved by Anna University Tirunelveli. Later, it was also approved as Centre for Research by Anna University, Chennai on 08.02.2012. There are 5 research supervisors and 20 research scholars, working under the various domains of Biotechnology. The centre for Research in Department of Biotechnology, have also completed 19 funded projects. And it is also moving ahead with the 2 Ongoing Sponsored Projects funded by Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, NewDelhi and DAE-YSRA-BRNS.
